Biography

Angela Morris-Winmill, born 1969
Artist and Designer passionate about fashion, colour and identity. Morris-Winmill enjoys working in several disciplines on her own directed projects. A painter and sculptor, she trained as a fashion designer and draws inspiration from her collection of mid - late 1800’s tailors mannequins, taxidermy, architecture and pop art. 
Morris-Winmill has exhibited in several London Galleries, including The Mall Galleries and shortlisted at Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2012 for her first steel sculptural gown. She has exhibited at The Threadneedle Prize and is represented by M1 Fine Art Gallery, Greenwich. Morris-Winmill is pleased to announce her forthcoming solo show of paintings at Artifact Gallery, New York, 2018. 
Her current projects include works of paintings/sculpture/ceramics and prints for her Immortal Vanity collection. She is also addressing issues of childrens’ mental health through drawings and paintings. 
Morris-Winmill works at London South Bank University as Artist in Residence Mentor.
